Your notes are yours.

Every note is a Markdown file in a folder you pick. Open it in Obsidian, VS Code or TextEdit, sync it with iCloud Drive, or back it up however you like. Already keep notes in Obsidian? Point Markraft at your vault and it fits right in.

Clean notes while you type.

Headings, lists and checklists take shape the moment you type them. Marks like ** only show where you are editing, so the rest of the note stays easy to read.

  • Checklists, tables and code blocks when you need more than text.
  • Paste from a web page and the formatting comes along.
  • Drop in an image and it is saved with the note.

Find anything without the mouse.

Press ⌘K to see everything Markraft can do, or ⌘P to jump to any note by searching what is in it.

Prefer vim? It is built in.

Switch on vim mode in Settings and edit with the keys you already know. It treats lists, tables and code blocks as whole pieces, so moving them around just works.

Free for good

No subscription and no limit on how many notes you keep. The code is open on GitHub for anyone to read.
